Nick came to Woodland in July 2020.  He was raised in Panama City Beach, Florida.  He began following Jesus at the age of 12, and shortly answered the call to be a minister a couple years later.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain College in Mississippi and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Seminary.  He has also completed additional studies through Asbury Theological Seminary.  He is married to the former Rebecca Vining of Winfield, Alabama.  They have a rescue dog named Duke.  Nick’s passions in ministry include evangelism, preaching and teaching God’s Word, and equipping Christians to realize their God-given potential through the local church.  When he isn’t serving the local church, you can find him in the backyard grilling dinner or at the beach soaking up the sun.

Anne Alan, a long-time member of Woodland and a lifetime United Methodist, is thrilled to have joined the team as Director of Programs in August 2018. You may know Anne Alan from her involvement with the children’s ministry along with her two young children, SJ and John Mays or from her development of the Wonderfully Made ministry in 2017. Her heart for the Lord and passion for connecting our members with opportunities for growth makes her the perfect addition to the team.
